Getnoticed B.V. is responsible for the processing of personal data as described in this privacy statement. Where this statement refers to “Serena”, “we” or “us”, we mean Getnoticed B.V., trading as Serena.

This privacy statement describes how we handle personal data that you provide to us when you visit our website or contact us about our services.

Personal data we process

Serena processes personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide this data to us yourself. Depending on your contact with us, this may include:

• Address details
• Telephone number
• Email address

Special categories of personal data and minors

Our website and services are not aimed at collecting data from visitors under the age of 16 without the consent of a parent or guardian. We cannot check whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore advise parents to be involved in their children’s online activities. If you think we have collected personal data of a minor without the required consent, please contact us at info@getnoticed.nl so that we can look into this and delete the data if necessary.

Purposes and legal bases

We use your contact details to call or email you when this is necessary for our services, for example to answer your question or to discuss a request with you.

Automated decision-making

We do not take decisions about you that are based solely on automated processing and that produce legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affect you.

How long we keep personal data

We do not keep your personal data for longer than is necessary to achieve the purposes for which we collect it. For the contact details mentioned above, we apply a retention period of 24 months.

Sharing personal data with third parties

We only provide your personal data to third parties if this is necessary for the performance of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation.

Cookies and similar technologies

A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer, tablet or smartphone when you visit a website. Cookies may, for example, be necessary for the technical operation of the website or for remembering your preferences. You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings. This may affect how the website works.

Your privacy rights

You can ask us for access to your personal data and for correction or deletion of that data. In addition, where the law provides for this, you can ask us to restrict the processing, object to the processing and have your data transferred. If we process data on the basis of your consent, you can withdraw that consent. This does not affect the lawfulness of the processing before the withdrawal.

You can send your request to info@getnoticed.nl. We respond as soon as possible and in principle within one month of receiving your request. If an extension is necessary and permitted by law, we will inform you within that month, stating the reason.

To prevent us from providing data to the wrong person, we may ask you to confirm your identity. We do not routinely ask for a copy of your identity document and, where possible, use a less intrusive method.

How we protect personal data

Serena takes the protection of your data seriously. We take appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised alteration. If you believe that your data is not properly protected, or if you see signs of misuse, please contact us at info@getnoticed.nl.

Data we process on behalf of customers

When you apply via a customer’s recruitment website, the organisation that receives your application is usually responsible for that processing. Please consult that organisation’s privacy statement. Where Serena processes this personal data via Serena on behalf of that organisation, it does so as a processor and in accordance with the agreements with that organisation.
